AASSA Radio: Episode 9: Why Teach Abroad?

Martha Young is a first grade homeroom teacher currently working at the American School of Asuncion. She grew up in Orlando, Florida and moved to South America seven years ago to start her international teaching career. She has lived in Colombia, Ecuador, and Paraguay and has traveled to almost every Spanish speaking country in Central and South America. She is earning her Master’s Degree in Educational leadership and hopes to continue working in South America to advance her career. She also supports her school through supporting bilingual clubs, girl empowerment clubs. She also supports her colleagues by being involved in student council projects in the middle school department.
