Meeting Time: 5:00 pm EDT
Audience: All Educators working with MLL Students and Families
Workshop Overview:
As educators, we are all dealing with this unforeseen time of remote teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar series will focus on the three R’s model of supporting and engaging families right now: 1) relationships, 2) resources, and 3) response. Guided by the creator of the 3 R’s model, Sarah Said, participants will be guided through learning, sharing and reflection opportunities about the families they are supporting at this time. Participants will learn ways of building on families’ funds of knowledge, explore communication strategies, and prepare for back-to-school in the fall.
