Through support provided by the U.S. Department of State and OSAC, AMISA is able to provide a variety of direct grant support to our member schools.

The mission of the U.S. State Department's Office of Overseas Schools is to promote quality educational opportunities at the elementary and secondary level for dependents of American citizens abroad. American-sponsored overseas schools play a significant role in the international endeavors of the United States. They not only serve the educational needs of U.S. children overseas, but also enroll children from host and additional countries.

The Office of Overseas Schools partners with AMISA as a regional education association to provide American-sponsored overseas schools with a variety of educational services and training.
