Graded International Choir Festival

Graded School of São Paulo is very proud to announce that Graded School of São Paulo will be hosting its 5th Graded International Choir Festival in November 13 to 14, 2015.

We are seeking schools across South America to participate, and we invite you and your singers to join us. The purpose of this event is to unite young people in the common goal of making beautiful music.

The Graded International Choir Festival is an educational music event and workshop held on the Graded School campus, designed to serve the needs of the vocal music programs in American schools within Brazil and throughout South America. Participants will experience two intensive days of vocal music instruction directed by prominent singers and performers from Brazil. Below is a sample program, based on past festivals:Friday8:30am 9:00am 10:30am 1:00pm 2:00pm – 4:00pmStudents and clinicians arrive, welcome and introductions Morning Sectional Rehearsals with clinicians Snacks Performance at Graded High School Assembly Afternoon Sectional Rehearsals with cliniciansSaturday8:30am 10:30am 11:45am 1:00pm 2:00pm – 4:00pmMorning Sectional Rehearsals with clinicians Performance at Graded Thanksgiving Celebration Traditional Thanksgiving lunch Dress rehearsal Choir Festival Concert

The cost of the festival will be US$50.00 per student, and per chaperone/director. This includes lunch and snacks at school on Friday and Saturday, bus transportation from and to the hotel, the festival T-shirt, and the opportunity to work with professional singers. This fee does NOT include hotel or dinner costs, or evening activities.
