AMISA Global Citizen Award - Applications Available | Deadline: February 16
The AMISA Global Citizen Award recognizes a student, or group of students, from AMISA Member Schools that have made exemplary contributions through a school and/or community-based service project. The student-led projects create and inspire greater international understanding, while making positive local or global change. Applications for student projects to be considered for the award are available here and the deadline is February 16. If you have questions about the process, email Adam Slaton at adam@amisa.us.
UPCOMING CONFERENCES
EDCON24 - We'll See You in Paraguay!
We are looking forward for you to join us in Paraguay at the American School of Asunción March 20-22, 2024 for our annual Educators' Conference. Experience three dynamic days of learning, networking, and connecting with fellow educators from around our region. Make sure to register for the conference as soon as possible and make hotel reservations. Special conference rates at the hotels end very soon, so make sure to reserve your hotel.
LEADCON24 - Argentina, Here We Come!
AMISA is thrilled to launch the conference page for our inaugural Leadership Conference that will solely focus on leadership development for both academic and operational school leaders. The conference will run from October 9-12, 2024 and consist of a pre-conference day and three days of a main conference. The conference venue will be shared between the Hilton Buenos Aires and Lincoln School (Asociación Escuelas Lincoln). Registration will open in April, but the Call for Proposals is up and running! We highly encourage school teams to submit a proposal focused on academic and/or operational leadership development to share with colleagues from the region. There is space for a very limited number of proposals, so please make sure to read the proposal guidelines when completing the process. Add Argentina to your calendar and join us in launching this new AMISA conference experience!
