FAQ AMISA DIGITAL BADGES
A digital badge is a visual representation of a verified achievement such as a skill. Badges are issued, accessed, and displayed online, and can be shared on social media channels, personal profiles and resumes.
Representing your skills as a digital credential gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of.
Once you create an account on the Credly platform, you will be able to find all of your earned digital credentials in one place. From your profile page you can print certificates, badge transcripts, and more to share with your current (or future) employer.
AMISA is partnering with credentialing vendor Credly to issue badges. Upon completion of badge requirements, you will receive an email from Credly (admin@credly.com) letting you know you have been issued a an badge and how to claim it. Once you do so, you’ll create a Credly profile and you will be able to access and view your badge on your Credly profile page. If you’ve received a badge on Credly before, be sure to use the same email address so that all your badges appear as part of the same profile.
Sharing Options
There are several ways you can share your digital badge. Once you are logged into your Credly account and have navigated to the Share Badge screen, you will see the following sharing options:

Your badge is a digital version of your certification, skills and qualifications. It allows you to easily show your colleagues, friends or potential employers:
When you earned the certification
What key skills are associated with the certification
What it takes to qualify for the certification
The work you do to actively maintain the certification
Membership Badges are issued at the School Organization and can be shared with staff, placed on school webpages. social media accounts, and staff email addresses. Membership badges are issued to the Head of School email address and they can share the embed codes, digital image, etc. with the correct personnel. The school is responsible for using this badge correctly and following any image guidelines/protocols when using the Membership Badge. Watch the "how to" video here.
