A Network of Learning and Leading for Women Educators & Allies!
Welcome to the AMISA Women in Leadership Group! AMISA is committed to promoting strong values of leadership, opportunity, and success for all individuals, regardless of gender. Our group aims to build a community of women leaders, both experienced and aspiring, open to all women and allies of women. We value women's unique contribution to leadership roles and aim to support women’s personal and professional growth through shared learning experiences within a safe space.
Our Five Areas of Focus
-
Fostering awareness about and support for women in leadership roles in international education and promoting inclusive models of leadership
-
Providing opportunities for learning effective leadership practices for women, exploring successful ways to address specific challenges that women experience, and making space for understanding diverse perspectives
-
Offering networking opportunities with successful women leaders and career mentorship for women
-
Offering a genuine space for all women to be seen, heard, represented, and uplifted, and amplifying women’s perspectives to a broader community
-
Building allies and partnerships who can contribute to and value our work
We invite AMISA Members (all are welcome) to join our group for a year of learning and networking together!
