About the Author:

Mike Pierre (he, him) is a seasoned Virtual Events Producer & Manager with a strong background in global education, digital content creation, and project management. At International Schools Services (ISS), he leads virtual event production and co-founded the ISS EDUlearn: Ask Me Anything podcast to connect educators worldwide through meaningful conversations. His innovative approach and technical expertise have helped create engaging, high-quality learning experiences for diverse audiences.


Before joining ISS, Mike spent seven years at Sesame Street Workshop developing interactive educational content for children. He also serves as Director of Marketing for BBABN, a Newark-based nonprofit, and as Events Producer for the New Jersey Jerk Festival. A Computer Science graduate from Rutgers University, Mike is the author of the Black Lives Matter Coloring Book and is passionate about using creativity and technology to promote inclusion, community engagement, and social justice.
