Research to Practice: Supporting Multilingual Learners
Join an upcoming three-part virtual webinar series for educators, focusing on applying key research about supporting multilingual learners in classroom. Presented by Multilingual Learning Research Center, the series will explore Collaboration, Translanguaging, and Inclusive EAL, equipping teachers with research-informed actionable strategies. This is FREE for AMISA Member Schools.
Each 90-minute session will feature a whole-group presentation in English, followed by language-specific breakout rooms (Portuguese, Spanish, English) to facilitate deeper discussion and job-specific content for various roles, including teacher aides and support staff.
Workshop dates:
Thursday, September 4th, September 18th, and October 2nd, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
