About the Event
The AMISA Mentorship Training Program is a year-long program designed for school leaders of all levels and departments (both academic and operational) to refine their leadership and communication skills, deepen their understanding of different perspectives, and make a tangible difference in a colleague’s life.
Having trained Mentors in the school helps transform and build the community’s sense of collaboration, professionalism, and collegiality. School-based mentorship programs promote professional development and growth among staff members. Mentors provide guidance and support tailored to the individual needs and career goals of their mentees, helping them navigate challenges, develop new skills, and advance in their careers. Through mentoring relationships, colleagues build trust, respect, and empathy for one another, creating a supportive network that enhances job satisfaction and retention.
The badge earner is experienced in developing a supportive mentoring relationship through engagement addressing career choices and life experiences where appropriate.
