Inclusion 2024 at InterAmerican Academy of Guayaquil

The INCLUSION SCHOOL OF 2024 conference is organized by the InterAmerican Academy (IAA) of Guayaquil and sponsored by the American International Schools in the Americas (AMISA).  This exciting conference will occur in Guayaquil on January 25, 26 and 27 of 2024.

This third international conference will attract leaders in the field of INCLUSION from around the globe and will feature three keynote speakers and several breakout sessions.  

We are offering two participation opportunities this year:

Option 1: Join us for a week of immersive learning from January 22nd through January 27th - 6 Days of Learning and growing - This will include three days of immersive learning alongside other educators and experts + 3 Days of conference interactions!

Option 2: Join us January 25th-27th for the inclusion conference!

• Dr. Lindsey Godwin & Dr. Matt Moehle - global appreciative inquiry experts speaking about using Appreciative Inquiry to build Inclusive Communities, Schools, and Classrooms! This will be experiential - as all Appreciative Inquiry is.
• Ms. Meghan Kanagaraj - PBIS, trauma-sensitive schooling & de-escalation expert, speaking about using trauma-informed practices & restorative practices to build Inclusive Communities, Schools, and Classrooms!
• Dr. Jonna Bobzien of Old Dominion University - Executive Director of the Center for Implementation & Evaluation of Educational Systems & Assistant Department Chair & Associate Professor in Special Education! She will share with us her incredible expertise in the areas of inclusion and best practices in teaching &  learning!
