The Safer Hiring Badge is a Level II Child Protection workshop given by ICMEC trainers. Participants will engage in a 90 minute workshop focused on safeguarding students in the process of hiring. Safer recruitment and hiring practices are invaluable tools in preventing abuse in our schools. This workshop focuses on the prevalence of institutional abuse, safer hiring practices, due diligence in hiring, resources for implementing safer recruitment practices, and opportunities to reflect on and discuss avenues for improving our recruitment practices.
