Series Overview
The job market of the 21st Century requires a constantly increasing number of individuals with the cognitive ability to think at higher levels. This fact makes it necessary that schools around the world implement teaching strategies that facilitate the use of higher order thinking skills by students. The research is clear that inquiry, the use of questioning techniques by teachers and students, is one such strategy. The use of inquiry as a teaching strategy helps to facilitate meaningful learning experiences for students in classrooms. Engage in this workshop series with your own curriculum and dive into designing inquiry and instruction around various levels of Depth of Knowledge.
