Welcome to Miami and the 2022 AMISA Operations Conference!

Like all of you, we are so very excited for us all to be together in-person. Thank you for being here! Our annual Operations Conference allows you to network, collaborate and learn with your colleagues and presenters. As you know, we recently changed our name from AASSA (Association of American Schools in South America) to AMISA (American International Schools in the Americas).  Our new name is more inclusive of our diverse member schools located not only in South America, but Central America, the Caribbean Islands, and now North America.  Our recent name change has been a direct result of our Board’s strategic work in reviewing and revising our Mission, Vision, and Values as an association.

This conference is designed to give school operations leaders a unique opportunity to work together in strategically planning for the future. We trust that you will take full advantage of the time together, as well as the expertise of the presenters that will be facilitating the learning. We are positive that it will be a meaningful event.

Thank you for sharing your time and expertise by attending the conference. The dedication of our AMISA member schools continues to empower us to move forward. We truly appreciate your dedication and commitment and wish you an amazing conference.

Sincerely,

Dereck Rhoads & Adam Slaton

AMISA Executive Director & Chief Learning Officer
