About the Event
Make Space for Math: Re-thinking and revising mathematical mindsets
Growth mindset, Neuroplasticity, Grit, Math Trauma, Brain Science, Language Processing- what do all of these words have in common? They all are an important part in how we learn math! In this virtual workshop, we are going to uncover and discover how the brain learns math, what gets in the way and how to address limiting mindsets in learning math, so we can re-focus our attention on planning math environments where all students are excited, connected and really learning math. Be ready to think, learn and expand your mind as we make more space for math!
